- The Chaosium edition of the Book of Uz had writeups for Kyger Litor, Zorak Zoran, Aranea, Argan Argar, Gorakiki, Zong and Xiola Umbar.
- The Avalon Hill edition of the Book of Uz had a cult writeup for Kyger Litor.
- In the Avalon Hill edition, the Book of Adventures was replaced by the Munchrooms adventure.
- Most material excised from the Chaosium edition was reprinted, updated in the Haunted Ruins, Troll Gods and Into the Troll Realms.
