The table is very nice but it really belongs on a different page, it's not about the Seleran Empire as such but about Seleran History Metcalph 08:23, November 20, 2009 (UTC)

Sure.[]

I moved the table to "Seleran History".Terra incognita 14:57, November 20, 2009 (UTC)

/* Teshnos */[]

Preview Maps from the upcoming Guide to Glorantha (shown at Eternal Con) clearly show that Teshnos (not Teleos) was part of the Seleran Empire around 1450 ST

Closing[]

Hello, Joerg: Certainly Revealed Mythologies said something like. Did Jeff state anything about the method how Bursts overcame the effect of Closing? Terra incognita

I think he meant Teshnos Metcalph 03:45, June 15, 2011 (UTC)

Peter is correct, I meant Teshnos. The question about how the Seleran Empire overcame the Closing is relevant for its attack on Vormain, though.

The Attack on Vormain[]

The simplest answer - Greg was thinking about Shang Hsa when trying to think of something to write about Sheng Seleris.

Cons: too boring.

When does the Seleran Invasion take place? I can't see it taking place earlier than Godunya's defeat in 1442 ST which leaves less than twenty years to raise a Closing-busting fleet.

The 1450 map says "failed invasion of Vormain 1452", so it is less than 10 years fleet build-up. Or rather, preparation to refute the Closing, since the Suam Chow fleet had been rebuilt after the Dragon's Awakening Shudder, I suppose. We know it was there in full strength when the Holy Country fleet arrived.

Okay, so the entry in Revealed Mythologies is not a mistake. I'll make the appropriate changes. Any other details you care to share? (coz I'm getting tired of refreshing glorantha.com every five seconds).

Whatever Sheng did to break the Closing, refute isn't the right word.
