- The most visible class boundary in Doraddi society is the boundary between a slave and everybody else.
Kralori[]
- Slaves are outside the social order and considered by the scholars to be a necessary imperfection.
- They are higher in status than criminals or wandering swordsmen.
- The Kralori avoid marrying their slaves.

- The Lodrili slaves are below the Worker Class in status.
- Their status is regulated by Law.
- Most slaves are agricultural workers.
- Slavery can result from war, rebellion or a communal failure to pay taxes
