- It makes slightly more than a complete rotation over 24 hours.
- It makes a complete revolution every year.
- Commentary: The previous two facts, combined with a 294-day year, gives a sidereal day of 23 hours, 55 minutes, 7.1 seconds (57 seconds less than Earth's).
- The dome rocks annually on the Western and Eastern Gates such that it tilts northwards in the summer and southwards in the winter.
