An obscure Elf realm that encompassed Laskal and Jolar in the Dawn Age
- Its core was in what is now the Mirelos Jungle
- It would have been plagued by the Double Hydra and the Orange Pyrohydra
- It ruled over the Pine forests in Taluk Mormandak and by extension Worofey
- It may have ruled over Esla and Moino
- It would have suffered in Aldrya's Woe
- Taluk Mormadak was the source of notable strife in Mirelos.
- Esla was the site of terrible elf wars.
- Ultimately the woods were destroyed.
- Comment: This may have been caused by the Sunstop
- They were hostile to the Veldang of Fonrit
- They seem to have conquered or supported conquest of the humans of western Laskal in 478 ST.
- Comment:
- The conquerors are said to have come from Elamle, which means Miirdek and Novarooplia
- They were motivated by hostility of the Artmali of Fonrit.
- The allies would have had to march through Mirelos.
- Why Old Mirelos did not send troops themslves is not known.
- A possible explanation is weakness or destruction of Old Mirelos leading to renewed conflicts over a previously stable border between western Laskal and the Aldryami.
- Garangordos returned after conquering Fonrit and defeated Aldryami at the Battle of the Trees in 525 ST
- Old Mirelos became superseded by the Elf Empire in the Imperial Age but the circumstances are unclear.
- Comment: When did Old Mirelos cease to exist? Before the conquest of Laskal? As a result of the Battle of the Trees? Or as a result of the destruction of the Elf Empire?
- Currently the woods are ruled by the Gaskallian Empire
