A heroic Zaranistangi army led by Bradoszaran that raided Slontos
- They are described as raiding westward across Ralios to Slontos which they had been hired to help defend.
- Comment:
- Slontos is (south)east of Ralios and to have headed westward would have meant they were crossing Kethaela
- No raids on Esrolia are known at this time save for the Flasgships of Doom circa 660 ST.
- Another possibility is to amend westward for eastward.
- Tolat and Anehilla are mentioned in the Xeotam Dialogues so there is evidence of their Ralian presence.
- They were present in Maniria before 758 ST as their presence caused the Slontans to ally with the Middle Sea Alliance
- They were allied to the Pralori rulers of Gualal
- They worshipped Tolat, Emilla and Orfeda
- They sacrified to Orfeda every 16 days.
- They lost the Red Sword of Tolat to the Seshnegi in 760 ST
- They were defeated and Bradoszaran killed in 805 ST at the Battle of the Lopers.
- They were thought to be utterly destroyed but this is not so.
- Their extended stay in Maniria suggests they could not return home.
- Comment:
- Although the Loper People are known to have teleported, they could only teleport to places they could see.
- Their presence in Ralios suggests they had fought for the Autarchy; after it collapsed in 740 ST, they raided eastward to Slontos
- They may have been transported by sea by the Waertagi, landed at Arolanit and made their way to the Autarchy
- The Jrusteli Confederation had been fighting the Autarchy since 680 ST and had split with the Waertagi since 713 ST before destroying them in 718 ST; the date of the arrival of the Loper People into the west would have been between 713-718 if the Waertagi had transported them.
- They could have been hired to defend the Slontans (against whom?) but if so, they turned against their former employers.
- Gualal being a small Pralori city would not have been significant enough to hire the army for themselves.
- This suggests the Loper People allied with the Pralori after they turned against the Slontans.
