A spell by the God Learners to switch the two goddesses to prove the power of their sorcery.
- Performed in 849 ST
- The aim was to reconstruct the Goddess Glorantha who had been shattered and broken.
- Two fragments were forced to admit they were interchangeable and switched worshippers.
- In one country all marriages failed after three years.
- In the other, fruit-bearing plants ceased to bear fruit.
- Slontos is known to be one of the countries involved as it caused widespread famine in Esrolia
- The goddesses switched back when the God Learner magics unravelled.
- Comment:
- If Ernalda was involved then the other goddess would have been from a fire-worshipping country.
- Only two such lands lay within the Middle Sea Empire: Fonrit and Teshnos
- Teshnos does suffer a mysterious gap in its gods.
- Teshana is described as having been unfaithful and left her husband.
- Teshnos is mentioned as having lost some of its gods as a result of the God Learners
- The Zanozar Bas Relief shows four Celestial Maidens among the five high priests and nobles of Teshnos, but their identities are said to be unclear.
