A cluster of planets that move together.
- It appears at Stormgate and then spirals upwards counter-clockwise until it reaches the Pole Star
- The Dara Happans called the single planet Umatum and call it now the Broken Ring
- Called Orlanth's Ring and the Ring of Orlanth by Orlanthi
- Called Farsanrana by Vithelans.
- Associated with Sky Bear by some cults.

- It was originally a single planet,
- It was shattered after a collision with the Red Planet.
History[]
- Ring stars have disappeared and returned over time:
- In 375 ST, two stars disappeared from the ring at the Sunstop.
- In 450 ST, the missing stars reappeared in 450 ST.
- In 1245 ST, a star was torn out violently during the Battle of Castle Blue.
- Between 1621 ST to 1622 ST, it fails to rise entirely during the Windstop.
- Between 1622 ST and 1624 ST, it is replaced with Three New Stars that followed the same path.
- In 1624 ST, it reappears with three more orange stars.
- In 1625 ST, the Broken Planet rises on a wrong day without the Dragon's Head. It then spirals around the sky in an hour.
